Trial flights:

Experience the elation of a winch launch at a rate of climb of some 2000 feet per minute. You will have a certified instructor as your pilot and the sailplane will achieve some 1500 feet height above the ground before the bang of the release mechanism leaves you to free flight and the gentle whistling of the wind.

Please note that on any given day we may not be able to accommodate 'off the street' purchases. The club would prefer that you contact Fred McKee and purchase a "Trial Flight" voucher as per below. The trial flight vouchers are also available at a cheaper rate.

TRIAL FLIGHT VOUCHERS ARE AVAILABLE (Great for gifts!) 

These make ideal presents for the man or woman in your life, unique and seldom forgotten. It is amazing how may people we talk to who "...have always wanted to have a flight in a glider".

Trial flights are undertaken between 10am and 1 pm on our flying days where there is a duty instructor. Flights after 1pm are subject to aircraft availability as they may be in use by club members.
