Club membership information:

Upon becoming a member of the Nelson Lakes Gliding Club (Incorporated), you are automatically affiliated with Gliding New Zealand which has delegated authority from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to govern gliding in New Zealand.

Below is our schedule of fees.

The fees are valid from 1st April 2010 and are subject to change at any time.

Logbooks: $35 (inc GST)

Membership*: Approx $400 (inc GST), payable on joining the club

*Includes club membership, affiliation to Gliding New Zealand, and bi-monthly copies of Soaring NZ magazine.

Winch launch fee: $15.00 

Aero tow surcharge: $10.00 per day (landing fee only).

IntroPack, including 3 instructional flights, a DVD & a gliding handbook, $120

Fee payable by overseas pilots to Nelson Lakes Club $50 per week or part thereof (or $35 for one day only)
