Annual Club Membership*: Approx $400 (inc GST),
payable on joining the club
*Includes club membership, affiliation to Gliding New Zealand,
and bi-monthly copies of Soaring NZ magazine.
Aircraft hire:
Grob Twin Astir $0.95 per min
Grob Club Astir $0.80 per min
Ka-6cr $0.60 per min
Winch Launch: $15
Aerotow surcharge: $10 per day
(landing fee only)
Log Book: $36
Fee payable by overseas pilots to
Nelson Lakes Club $50 per week
or part thereof (or $35 for one day only)
(Note also annual fee for overseas pilots to
NZGA of $60)

Upon becoming a member of the Nelson Lakes Gliding Club (Incorporated), you are automatically affiliated with Gliding New Zealand which has delegated authority from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to govern gliding in New Zealand.
Our schedule of fees as listed on this page are valid from 1st April 2010 and are subject to change at any time.
